Available for all of Marquette County
Thanks to a grant from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE), Sands Township hosts an electronics recycling day on the third Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for all Marquette County residents.
Location
The Recycle and Transfer Station is located on M-553 just south of the Sands Township Office and Park.
Approved Recycling Materials
- Computers (desktop, laptop, tablets) – no charge
- Printers – no charge
- Cables, cords, wires, keyboards, mice, stereo equipment, DVD/CD players, satellite tuner boxes, routers, other miscellaneous items – no charge
- LCD small computer monitors – no charge
- CRT computer monitors – $5 each
- Flat Screen TVs and box TVs – $5 each
